Shortly after Tjasa took over her watch, she had to wake me up because we got a lot of wind.
I took the hydrogenerator out of the water because it’s speed limit is 8 KN. Then the wind increased more. As, for security reasons, we had put MaRe her night gown on at sunset, I knew we don’t have to consider reeffing but could just enjoy the very fast ride through the nightly sea.
After the squall comes the rain and with this, the beginning of the slackening. At the end there is so little wind that it is not so easy to keep MaRe on course.
A while later the next squall came. The same procedure as for every squall…
Now it’s 1430 and we rode the maybe 7 the squalls. Before the last one, we sailed MaRe with full main to catch as many day moving air molecules sad possible.
What will come up next?
