Since last night we face weakening wind.

The sea became much calmer. Wind waves are at level 3, moderate. The swell, rolling on from SE, is about 100 m long and has a height of about 2 m. Very comfortable sailing, BUT we are slow. The averaged SOG during the last 3 h is still. 4.5 KN. I would like to have again 5.5 KN.

But, there’s always a but, we can’t change the wind only adjust the sails.

As I always get into close contact with the authorities for inbound clearance, I just send them a mail with the updated ETA being 23. or 24. Dec. I also asked them if they would clear us in on the 24th. Wonder what they will reply.

And, I wonder also about what the wind will do.
