This morning we had to bid farewell to Lisa & Nick this morning and then prepared for departure to Butaritari. We could have stayed with the wonderful friends for more days but the weather window is good only today or on Monday or Tuesday. Too late for our sailing plans.

As I had a synch-problem with Joplin, there are a few narrations not yet written. They will become “catching up” narrations.

Here only a short note on the actual situation.

After we were out of the pass, we set the gennaker. AWA of 130 deg STB and a TWS of 8-9 KN makes sailing with the gennaker very comfortable. The track mode of the autopilot keeps is fine on course and the TWD is very stable from E.
