The lagoon of Penrhyn Islands is s nice place for various types of sharks.
Where MaRe was at anchor she had always s group of 4 – 6 smaller black tip sharks around her.
It was interesting to watch them when Shigeo threw uneatable pieces of tuna over board. The first shark which arrived, looked carefully at the piece of tuna before it ate it.
Only the next pieces were eaten faster.
Sharks are not the all immediately eating beasts as they are often to normally described.
Still, I didn’t want to fall in the water with a group of sharks around me. The people of the neighbor boat had a swim.
