… of my last cruise in the Marquesas.

It was an interesting one and I don’t want to miss any of the bays I anchored in. A bit more is written in the previous narration of this morning and more in all the other narrations of this cruise.

Now I start preparations for the next part of the looong sail from Europe to Japan and back.

Soon my OBM is coming back on board and also Ruslana, my new crew member until NZ, embarks.
With both of them we sail through the Tuamotus atolls to Tahiti. There my OBM unfortunately needs to fly home to Tokyo again. But she will come later again.

The hook is in the ground of Tahauku Bay – again. The bay is extremely crowded today. So I’m considering to change place when a better one becomes available. The anchor is down at 3 – 4 m, MaRe has 20 m of chain and there are still 3 m of water around MaRe at mid tide. Thus, all should be fine.
