After the rain in the morning there was nothing special anymore.
Working on plans where to drop the anchor when we reach Fatu-Hiva.
Then we had to deal with a transfer of PDF files from an Android tablet to and iPad. The solution was the usage of a Linux PC because Linux can deal with all data formats.
Dinner and after dinner time was again discussion time.
I looked out at the wide dark ocean I felt I can look it without an end in time. We have wind waves of bid more than a meter and a swell rolling at about 80 deg from STB towards MaRe. The swell has a height of 2 – 3 m and wavelength of around 50 m .
At 1800 I calculate the day distance (= last 24 h distance) and got exactly 150 NM. Not top but quite good.
Now, MaRe runs in average with around 7 KN through the dark night. The wind comes E with gusts of 20 KN TWS, and MaRe is steered in wind-vane-mode with an AWA of 90 deg STB.
