Night watches are lonesome hours.
I’m sitting at helmsstation and look often up to the sky. A larger area of the sky is uncovered with clouds.
Half over the mast, when MaRe swings a bit to PRT, i can see a the belt of iron.
Tonight I finally found the Southern Cross, which I remember having seen clearly when I traveled, felt 100 years ago, with a friend in NZ. By the end of the year I might arrive there. But no fixed plans.
Now I’ll get myself another cup of tea.
