The doldrums are really very kind to us. They give us the feeling the sailors had during the days of sailboats without engines and they had to go through the doldrums.
MaRe, sailing at an extremely slow speed, teaches us patience. We are happy with the small but constant progress into SW direction we make.
The very best of the doldrums work be really glassy sea. This still can come up.
This morning I baked new bread. I prepared the dough already yesterday and kept for a cold proof over night in the fridge. Thus, only forming and baking in the morning. It seems I have to do this every 4 – 5 days.
BTW, today’s noon etmal was 39 NM. I could have been less.
Let’s see what’s coming up later the day and what will be our 2000 position.
