The decision to keep sailing only with genoa was good one. because the wind shifted and the genoa only covers a wider range of wind when sailing a broad reach course.<\/p>\n

As we sail using the wind vane mode of the auto pilot, I only have to watch the autopilot for windshift messages and make adjustments. Very exciting.<\/p>\n
Behind me there are about 30 bananas ripening. Would like to eat one. However in the light of my torch it is impossible to distinguish between green and yellow ones. I was lucky I picked one which was sufficiently ripe.<\/p>\n
Should make myself a pot of tea and maybe eat some bread to better stay awake.<\/p>\n

DTW, distance to WPT, is only 24 NM and the ETA is between 0800 – 0900. Perfect timing.<\/p>\n
The temperature is pretty pleasant. The air feels fresh but not cold. Perfect.<\/p>\n
The moon has long gone behind the horizon and so has Orion.<\/p>\n
