As we had yesterday SE wind we had wind and current against us we reduced our speed. However my decision to have the bow and stern thrusters removed proved to be a good one. It seems MaRe runs almost 2 knots faster. Now I’m very curious what I observe while sailing.<\/p>\n
For the night we are at anchor in bay on the west side of Kawau Island. Absolutely quite.<\/p>\n
From here we have about 30 NM to Bayswater Marina where I made a reservation for a berth.<\/p>\n
My crew member from NZ to Japan will arrive on Thursday and embark at Bayswater Marina.<\/p>\n
