I took all sails down and started the engines. Not really the way I like to sail but the only reasonable way to deal with the wind on a short term. If I would be on longer sail I made a heave to and wait for better wind. Not with about 30 NM remaining to the destination bay, I use the engine and recharge the same time the service batteries.<\/p>\n<p>The sea is pretty bumpy. In German I call it a &#8220;Kartoffelacker&#8221;.
