Needed to prepare the fender for a last minute action to protect our boats.<\/p>\n<p>Luckily, we did not come closer than 2 m and the wind didn&#8217;t change in the wrong direction.<\/p>\n<p>With the anchor up we took course to the WPT BayOfVirginsCenterOut, a WPT I placed to get out of the lee effect of Fatu-Hiva and gain from the jet effect of the valley of Hanavave village..<\/p>\n<p>As the wind is very weak, I made a shortcut and we&#8217;re motoring on course to Taiohae, Nuku-Hiva waiting for the wind to get a little bit stronger.<\/p>\n<p>It feels as if it will be sneaking around the nothern corner of Fatu-Hiva&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A quarter to 0600 we lifted the hook.
