…wind down, sail down, wind up,…. The game of the day.

… Lasted not long. At about 2230 wind was down so much that the autopilot could not keep the course anymore. Engines started running and are running still now.

At 1945 we had 3 Bft abeam at STB and set main. Hopefully this wind does not die again but increases n to 4 – 5 Bft.

… and I’m happy about a half a KN speed increase. But still hope for the 10 KN wind from NW.

… and not run with a motorboat to the Canaries. Tried sailing again. We make 4 – 5 KN STW and it is quiet.

Ideal wind for the gennaker, but a bit damaged yesterday, thus stowed away. Keep running under engines or drift for a few days until more wind comes.

Boring day. No wind. Use engines to head a bit more W to hopefully catch some wind there. Let’s see what the night brings.

Wind shifted very often made us leaving our planed route. Gybed again at 0755 CEST and heading now again to the way point. Wind and speed slowed down. Only around 13 KT AWA 139.

TWS 22 KN. Good progress.
