251116 Beside struggling with the wind

There is more in the daily board routine then struggling with the wind.

In the afternoon hours, when the sun goes down towards the horizon, sunlight comes into the cockpit. As the sunlight is still strong, it gets hot inside the cockpit, especially when the wind is weak. Sun protection is needed. For the other hours we have the STB side enclosure tied up to the railing. This let’s air pass freely and provides shade.

My normal fitness training at the bow is not possible because MaRe moves too much for this. So I selected exercises, which can be done in a partially modified way in the cockpit. First tests were pretty good and it keeps me physically in a better shape during longer sails.
