As we want to see Mt Yasur, a 360 m high active volcano, I reached out to my customs & immigration contact and asked if we still can make inbound clearance in Lenakel, Tanna Island. A lady asked the Lenakel team to reply and I got very quickly a positive reply.

Thus, I changed already course to Futuna Island west side. It’s a small island west of Tanna Island and we need to pass it.

The emails exchanged gave me the feeling we are welcome.
