Around 1000, Norah and I headed out for some snorkeling. We went to Hope Reef, just about 100 – 200 meters away from MaRe.

Back when I was a student in Osaka, I used to scuba dive a lot and saw tons of coral reefs with all kinds of colorful fish. But Hope Reef is something else. Seeing all these different corals, untouched and in their full size, was absolutely amazing. And being surrounded by reef fish again – most of which didn’t even bother to swim away – just made it even more special. I’m really glad I got to experience all of this with Norah.

For the afternoon we have some plans. I will not write but create a cliffhanger so you hardly can wait until the next narration.
