The day before yesterday, we got the STB front window completely out. Chris, GRP specialist gave me a hand because Window-John needed to leave earlier. The opening in the salon is closed with sheet of plastic to prevent possible rain coming in. Fortunately in the next days there is no reason forecasted.
Next work is the cleaning of the bonding areas at the window and GRP frame, and then bond the window back in place. The internal wooden frame is only for esthetic reasons and can be refurbished.

It seems that my choice of installing a WordPress homepage on the server, was a good one. (I’m using WordPress.org, the open source SW and not WordPress.com.) There is plenty of documentation available. The blogging function is already built in and an Android app is available for uploading text and images. This works already fine.

Also the transom steps are ready for bonding new teak strips on the steps.
